Let me put this out there. When it comes to women’s reproductive rights/health, men should have NO seat at the table. It is ludicrous, hateful, controlling, paternalistic, misogynistic etc to think that men would have any say in the healthcare care of the other gender. How would men like it if the shoe was on the other foot? One more thing, I’m a 68 year old male and I work in healthcare!
Thanks for your work on this. You have my vote and my monthly donation. In my opinion, the most important structural change that needs to happen in this country is ending gerrymandering. Because of gerrymandering, Republicans have an extremely unfair advantage here in North Carolina, as well as in many other States. This causes an absurd imbalance in the influence the right wing has on policies, affecting everything from abortion to voting rights. Please work to end gerrymandering once you become a US Senator!
I think we can all agree that there are many issues that Gov. Cooper needs to work on when he gets to the Senate….but let’s get him there first! Run Roy run!
My family and I support you in this matter. Enough with gender inequality. We are all people and we all deserve our rights. We will continue to support and donate where we can to restore not only mine and my daughters’ but, every woman and girl’s right to choose what to do with her own body. The government has no place near a woman’s body. Elected officials have zero right to force or women and girls. We need to make damn sure we do whatever it takes, and I do mean whatever it takes, to make them remain where they belong and keep them out of a woman’s privates
